More wildlife than “Springwatch”!

I was so pleased that during this past week Julie and Alan, our guests at Kirklauchline Cottage and emailed lots of photographs of the birds that were keeping them amused on the feeder just outside the lounge window.

I sometimes miss out on seeing the variety of bird life here in the Rhins of Galloway as we have cats at home so I don’t tend to encourage the wild birds. Receiving these pictures was a real treat for me so I just had to share them! You may remember our cheeky chaffinch from a previous change over day, he was christened “Fat Eric” this week!
